The
power of the Internet is limitless, there are numerous ways to connect
with people and explore the web. However, it isn't all that safe at
times, especially for young children who are exposed to cyber bullying.
According to the article on StopBullying.gov,
cyber bullying is bullying that occurs over the Internet, usually on
social networking and media sites. It can range from private message
threats to public posts of embarrassing pictures which are open to the
public. Sadly, about 16% of high school students have to deal with the
immense pressure of this type of bullying because it is very easy for
the bullying to spread out of control. It is important to take control
of the Internet and be smart about the people you expose yourself too.
